The world scholars’ cup is an international competition which brings together students from different schools. The competition is team debates, collaborative essay writing, scholars challenge questions, scholars bowl and talent show. It is held regionally and internationally. Our World Scholar's Cup Our World Cup Scholars have had an amazing time at the Tournament of Champions held at Yale University, New Haven, CT. All students were entered into the senior category where they have been competing against 2000 students from over 60 countries in various events including debate and essay writing challenges.
I am participating in a competition called “the world Scholar’s cup”. My friends and I form a team of 3 members in which we have to debate, write essays, take an exam and do quiz together. Not only is it educational, but it is also a lot of fun! We discuss topics like moonshots, conspiracy.
On 3 and 4 February, nearly 40 BISL students from Year 6 to Year 13 participated in the World Scholar's Cup. This is an academic challenge in which the students had to study specific subject areas in advance. Then they competed against students from 33 schools from all across Slovenia and even as far away as Italy, Serbia and Austria.

The World Scholar's Cup consists of four main events: The Scholar's Challenge, Collaborative Writing, The Team Debate, and The Scholar's Bowl. In addition to these four events, many more events have come to join the tournament. These events are both social and academic, and strive to solidify the community aspect of the World Scholar's Cup.
